I am a graduate student of Biology in Dr. Kevin Collins' lab at University of Miami, Florida. I have research interest in cell signaling processes and interactions of signal transduction networks in neural circuit modulation. In our lab we use genetic as well as advanced optogenetic techniques to analyze these processes in simple model system Caenorhabditis elegans. I was born and raised in Palung which is a small valley in the central region of Nepal. I pursued undergraduate with Biotechnology major from Purbanchal University, Nepal. Before joining to Collins Lab, I graduated with masters in Special Integrated Science Course at Osaka University, Japan. As a graduate research trainee, I did my masters research under the supervision of Professor Masahiro Ueda at Riken Quantitive Biology Center, Osaka.
